HWH Comment: It’s unfortunate that we live in a time where it takes thousands of law enforcement personnel and military in addition to extreme barricades and procedures and millions upon millions of dollars to keep people safe during a political convention that promised to attract thousands of violent protestors.
That it costs so much in time, money and services to keep Cleveland from being burned to the ground does not make me feel secure. It only proves the volatile time we live in whereby these measures are needed to keep the peace.
Where is the discipline by those who would do humanity harm to advance their cause in the name of their lives mattering more than yours, when they need the presence of a literal army to prevent them from acting on their annihilist urges?
