The USA can’t be the babysitters of the world. Nor can they be the domestic abuse police of the world, taking in all families where the husbands beat the wives or otherwise oppress them. It is the society that oppresses. These abusive cultures need to work out their own human rights and abuse issues.
We have those same issues in this country. All these people from all these countries claiming to be abused, bring their abusive cultures with them. All they do is continue the abuse in a different place. It never ends till people rise up within their own cultures to address the issue. Going to another country is not the answer.
So how does a woman divorce a husband from another country while she is living in this country, and why is it our problem? The women are the ones who accept the conditions of their cultures. It is a worldwide problem. Moving people around from country to country is not solving anything; it’s creating more problems associated with culture shock.
This domestic abuse reason for illegally entering the country is a scam. Their husbands will arrive at a later date and they’ll all be reunited. The news stories got this one wrong. How do the people in the USA tell husbands of other countries not to beat or disrespect their wives and children? The same cultures that accept domestic abuse as normal already exist in the USA. Those men are already here by the millions.
Wake up to reality.
Wouldn’t you think that with all the Spanish-speaking countries and islands in the world, that Spanish-speaking people wanting to move elsewhere would choose a country that at least speaks their language? It doesn’t make any sense. They’re all bad? Unfit for human occupation?
Frankly, any parent who subjects their’s or anybody else’s children to the horrors, rigors and life-threatening, humiliating experiences of traveling to parts unknown to enter a country illegally should be charged with child endangerment. Period.
