DARK MATTER

DARK MATTER

Years ago I wrote a segment for a book titled A PLAN FOR THE PLANET.

The segment was called Little Big Thoughts.

After joining Word Press and publishing my books online – free to read – I decided that for each book and for the three segments of the first book, I would use a different theme. Word Press offers free themes, which are the basic structures used to organize your material on a website and/or blog.

To do that you have to pick a theme, assign it a url and title. As one of the urls I picked “Little Big Thoughts”. It was rejected by Word Press as already taken. I tried a number of other titles of books and segments of books on my site that I had written and they were also taken – all of them.

Being new to the online Publishing world I was shocked. How could somebody have the exact same titles that I have, when I wrote them all ?

This is what happens: People or machines troll Word Press, probably for new accounts, sift through their intellectual material and then copy titles, probably with the intent of selling the titles back to the person who wrote them. Ever search for a domain name and they’re mostly taken? Okay, somebody is selling the domain name. They scoop them up for the purpose of selling them. I don’t know how profitable that business is, but I’m pretty flexible with my art. You take a title of mine; I’ll develop a new one.

Individuals, groups, parties, politicians, nations, companies, corporations, industries, charities, foundations, think tanks, media groups, social groups, media outlets, Hollywood is a big offender, writers, artists, ethnic groups, racial groups, gender groups and on and on take segments of my work and put their name on it. They figure if it’s from God, it means their God, so God is free. Yeah, well, if God were free you wouldn’t be receiving a paycheck, since all life and non-life is God. You’d all be working for free.

What they didn’t count on is that I have in pristine condition never been opened original books – that I used as the catalyst for everything written online thereafter.

So, once my titles were all taken I had no choice but to keep trying new names until I found one I could live with and that Word Press would accept.

As I was scrolling through images of animals on Wix.com (another self-publishing platform), putting sunglasses on all of them I saw this zebra that was laying on the ground scratching his/her back and immediately I thought ‘happy white horse’. Of course it’s a zebra, and of course it’s black and white, but I wasn’t thinking race or about a politically correct horse or zebra. That was my impression, so that’s what I used to replace the title of LITTLE BIG THOUGHTS in the book A PLAN FOR THE PLANET.

A few years later, while searching for a domain name for something else, I decided to try that “LITTLE BIG THOUGHTS again, just for the heck of it. Whoever copied all my titles from wordwarriordavies-tight.com, threw them back, because now they were available. I, however, no longer wanted a separate theme for each book. Yet I did at least feel comfortable that I could keep my “Little Big Thoughts” title. After thinking on it though, I decided to alter the title to “LITTLE BEAR THOUGHTS” just in case somebody produced fake documents claiming the title to be theirs.

That’s where I stand today. Rather than spend the rest of my life suing the offenders I decided instead to let the universe handle it. The universe shows no mercy, because it doesn’t know what mercy is. Yeah, I can live with the laws of physics. Now if I tell you how those operate in a material Little-Big-Thought-related world, then I’d be giving away something meant for me.

Like ‘DARK MATTER’, some things require privacy to be effective. Those guilty know who I am and that I know what they did. My works are like kids to me; I can recognize them anywhere. Now you, the guilty, know the universe also knows. Why? Because I brought it to the attention of the BIG U.

How?

MEET THE WALL.
