Tyson Foods And Others Invest In Insect Protein

__  Tyson Foods, the live chicken people are investing in insect protein. Take a look.

New YorkCNN —

“Tyson, a major US producer of beef, pork and chicken, is betting on protein that comes from insects.

The meat processor said on Tuesday that it has invested in Protix, a Netherlands-based insect ingredients maker. Tyson is not only taking a minority stake in the company, but is working alongside it to build a US factory. That facility will use animal waste to feed black soldier flies, which will then be turned into food for pets, poultry and fish. Tyson did not disclose the financial specifics of the deal.

Those flies are not going into human food, at this point. “Today, we’re focused on more of [an] ingredient application with insect protein than we are a consumer application,” said John R. Tyson, chief financial officer of Tyson Foods.”…read more

Sharon’s View. You might want to rethink the animal meat you’re eating, since before long it will contain insects as an ingredient. Don’t we have enough insects in the world without starting insect farms to insert them into our foods? Do you want worms in your meat? Cockroaches are in the same family as beetles. Trust this; you will be eating the cockroaches that the defense department uses biological weapons to exterminate, whether they’re listed as beetles or not. So we eat shrimp, not much difference. But no one is force-fed shrimp. No one is tricking people by putting shrimp into products unbeknownst to us.

Shocking, when you consider that they already know most Americans won’t buy into it, so they do it behind your back, insert insects into protein bars, candy, flour, dog food and a bunch of other products. All to boost the economies of countries that want to sell insects to you, while they dine on insect-free animal-fare at their high-end restaurants. So that leaves one to wonder why the wealthy won’t eat the insects, but expect to pawn them off onto the lower, unworthy (to them) classes around the globe.

I don’t care if movie stars eat insects. No one’s stopping them. But again, why should movie stars make decisions on what the REST OF THE WORLD will eat? Say no to food containing ingredients that you don’t want.

PUT A BIG FAT SPIDER w/a cockroach on Joe Biden’s plate and tell him that’s his protein, eat it. He won’t and never will. Don’t expect others to do what you won’t do.

That’s how you lose your freedom as an American, when the government in a free society forces you to eat something you don’t want or like or need, by sneaking it into products. One must ask why Americans are being forced to eat insects that Africans eat just because that’s what they want to sell to us? How about selling us something we want instead? Since when does an insect farmer/vendor decide what Americans are going to be force-fed by Africa?

ACCIDENTAL INCLUSION INTO A RECIPE OR FORMULA is expected; we all were born in a garden after all, not a barn. Earth is NOT a barn; it’s a garden. Proponents, for business reasons, will claim that insects are part of the garden experience. Yes, and they can fly away and not be tortured.

However when you apply factory farming methods that include procreation, you’re now into enslavement, torture and slaughter territory.

Recall how the government brainwashed you from birth into thinking milk was good for you and steak and eggs were good for you, then consider how many people died, living short lives, because of it? Don’t let them make the decision for you.

I’d get out of the animal-eating business if I were an animal-eater. Insects aren’t any better for the organism than plants, plus there are too many allergen possibilities that won’t be properly addressed.
