I guess nobody on the democratic side of last night’s 1-1/2 hour presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris knows that many cultures still eat dogs and cats.
Hey, I’m a life-long democrat and was shocked that politicians know so little about the cultures they influence to come to the USA. When people migrate anywhere they bring their cultures with them. To deny a behavior exists so vehemently absent the actual knowledge was a bit frightening, and in the after party discussions, the news people were just as ignorant, even laughing about it, like what did he say? dogs and cats get stolen and eaten? in America?
Island communities, African communities, Asian communities and others who immigrate to the USA are accustomed to eating dogs and cats, thus they find a way to continue their culture, no matter the country to which they immigrate.
Island people especially, since they’re mostly native bring their native cultures with them.
Best to know who you’re inviting to dinner, if you know what I mean.
Geeze if they don’t know about the dog and cat meat trade, how can they say they know about the sex slave trade? They probably never heard of it.
Regarding the Trump/Harris Debate. Only Donald Trump stayed Ready and Steady to negotiate on behalf of the USA throughout the debate, everything else was Madison Avenue.
