I thought she was dead. What’s she doing in a jar in my apartment in public housing with a gas mask on?
That’s mold of some sort. My jars were cleaned and bleached and rinsed before adding cold tap water and food coloring.
Back in the 60s and 70s people used to put colored water in decorative containers. It was a cheap way to decorate an end table. It never grew mold.
So what’s going on with our water supply? Or what’s in the food coloring that created that unusual mold? Coronavirus?
It grew rapidly, and only in that one jar.
I wonder if it’s dangerous? How would I know? Is it safe to put it back from whence it came, into the sewer system?
In Cleveland, drinking water is purified sewer water. Safe to consume, they who purify it say.
I wonder if it is.
I’m not ready to dump it, since I don’t know if it’s harmless or detrimental or lethal.
CHESS BORED.
